Description:
Technical Support to Decommissioning Preparations Unit of Magnox Generation in order to obtain consent to decommission the Magnox Fleet of power stations under the Nuclear Reactors (Environmental Impact Assessment for Decommissioning) Regulations 1999.

Scope of service supplied

• Review of the technical sections EIA statements, specifically in the areas of geology, hydrology, geomorphology and surface water quality

• Liaison with power station staff and external technical consultants on technical aspects of the EIA statements

• General technical authoring tasks in support of the submission of EIA statements to the competent authority, the HSE
