Environmental Assessments

• Provided technical support to Decommissioning Preparations Unit of Magnox Generation in order to obtain consent to decommission the Magnox fleet of power stations under the Nuclear Reactors (Environmental Impact Assessment for Decommissioning) Regulations 1999.

• Preparation of Gaseous and Liquid Radioactive Substances Act (RSA) Authorisations Documentation for UKAEA Dounreay which reviewed the existing and furure waste arisings, identified the discharge routes and waste streams and justified the current discharges.

• Review of critical group doses for UKAEA Dounreay to provide input to an optioneering process considering new stack designs

• Provision of an external member of UKAEA Site Safety and Environmental Safety Working Party (SSESWP)
